In the opening program:

• an unconventional round table with well-known figures of contemporary art; • artists, curators and theorists.

• performance exhibition

• traditional vernissage joys.

To understand the meaning of the political catastrophes of the last three years, many turned to the theory that in 2016 some kind of parallel dimension emerged, which, unlike the one we are used to, is not governed by rational thinking. Trump and Brexit are interpreted in this context as a cause and effect of the beginning of a new world order, where political discourse is no longer aimed at persuasion with the help of reasonable arguments, but rather at manipulating the emotions of citizens who are ready to accept a lie if it confirms their prejudices and deny facts that these prejudices refute. In short, we live in a time when the concept of truth has lost the privileged meaning it has held since the Enlightenment. Objectivity and rational social interaction are at stake.

Everyone knows that our world is strange, unreal, false and unfair. But everyone perceives him as completely normal. And the most interesting feature of our time is that no one sees an alternative to this world.

At the round table, the participants will propose an alternative to the current situation.

Moderators: Anna Kiyashchenko, Galya Luppo

Curators: Andrey Andreev, Anya Belousova

And a Russian collector, a publicist, a producer, and an art manager,

and the curator of the most famous and scandalous exhibitions of contemporary Russian art, and the head of the European Art Center in Montenegro, and the former director of the Perm Museum of Contemporary Art PERMM, and the former Deputy General Director of Channel One OJSC, and a political consultant, and one of the founders of the Fund for Effective politicians ”, and a member of the Public Chamber of the convocation of 2010-2012, and the director of a sausage factory, which Anatoly Osmolovsky reproaches him.

Almost all the most important artists of post-Soviet Russia have collaborated with the Marat Gelman Gallery, from the classics of Moscow conceptualism, sots-art and postmodernism to the artists of the St. Petersburg "New Academy", Moscow actionism, the South Russian wave and the pioneers of media art; from painters to photographers, architects, sculptors and artists working with installations and new media. His country house is crammed with works by representatives of all modern trends. Marat Gelman is convinced that a talented artist can be shameless, has the right to deceive, let down and do anything - if only his creative message would see the light and go as far as possible into the world.

Art manager inspired artist Anatoly Osmolovsky for the project https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=1413762068650552&id=100000503173017, associated with anecdotal stories about Gelman: here he and "Little Johnny" from the art business

"Yakut punk-rock will have everything to fuck"

"APXIV has no president"

Self-organized near Vyshny Volochy (and not only) in the summer of 2016.

Concept father — Stas Shuripa, conceptual grandfather — Joseph Backstein. Godmother Svetlana Baskova. Cyber mother — Alla Mitrofanova. Caring sister Nadya Busheneva. Meta nephew — TOmVa. Otherworldly patron Andrey Parshikov. Inner critic Vladimir Mogilevskiy.

Really large group of artists with variable structured chaos capabilities. They work almost anonymously. We thought up, organized and held 21 events, 14 of them are in the NIIDAR archive. All this time, attendees were carefully fed and watered at every event. Gave five indistinct interviews. Organized a self-organized round table for self-organization. Bathing the best curator of Moscow Denis Semenov We held 24 exhibitions in 24 hours, and even allowed spectators to attend one of them. They seduced the viewer with discourse, fulfilled his wishes. Hacked the Biennale. Moved Baikonur. At fourteen, one exhibition was curated. Representatives of the art community were launched on an inflatable unicorn. They watered Copenhagen residents with mushrooms and buckwheat. Post-post-colonized St. Petersburg. They stole galoshes in Kostroma. Balanced on WINZAVOD Contemporary Art Center.

Three times were applied for Innovation and the Kandinsky Prize (it seems twice, but still useless). Immersively captured the ship. We celebrated 2 weddings.

Remotely warmed the audience in Budapest with their warmth. Collected the largest DNA base of the Moscow art scene. To the accompaniment of popcorn crunching and applause, the unfinished film was presented at Cosmoscow. Splashing in the pool in sync with Svetlana Baskova (yes, they love swimming pools). They erased the boundaries, pushed the boundaries, explored the fields, speculated on intangible values.

They brought themselves to the hand and foot, tirelessly building an elusive utopia.

An artist whose periods of creativity have already been designated

https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Осмоловский,_Анатолий_Феликсович, one of the founding fathers of Actionism in Russia, the youngest participant in the Venice Biennale, a quoted classic, and simply "I'm a genius! Almost Pushkin of contemporary art" — Anatoly Osmolovsky.

The most political artist of the 90s has a personal website with the appropriate name — Osmopolis. http://osmopolis.ru

Anatoly shares the secret of success: “Only those who signed an agreement with society and began to take care of their place in the system get success” and invites him to study at the BAZA institute he founded in an excellent video. https://vk.com/video-33334108_456240006

Anatoly often repeats to students that they are zeros without a stick, that each novice artist may have a different number of zeros - his knowledge and skills, but there are no sticks - events and established connections yet.

Leads an active public life on the network, distributing courtesies Marat Guelman and other comrades in the shop.

An action known even to those who are not interested in art, in which Anatoly took part — “E.T.I. — TEXT" (popularly — "HUY"). The three-letter word was laid out by the bodies of the protesters on the paving stones of Red Square on the eve of Lenin's birthday. Details are on Anatoly's website.

Pakhomov's canvases were exhibited at the Ludwigshafen (German) Russian Museum, the Saatchi Gallery in London, as well as at the New York Guggenheim Museum [5], but his roles in the director's scandalous paintings brought him fame Svetlana Baskova "Green Elephant", "Kokki - Running Doctor", "Five Bottles of Vodka" and others. However, with participation in the "Battle of Psychics" in 2015, Pakhom's television career began. This was followed by participation in the reality show "The Last Hero". In 2017, cooperation with the TV-3 channel began on the Invisible Man and Supernatural Selection projects as a TV presenter. Sergei explains his introduction into popular culture as follows: "to become an artist, you need to become a maximum number of copies." Pakhom also says: "But in fact, of course, everything that is shown on TV or in a movie theater is all the absolute truth," because "everything that is - that is." Sergey Pachom

“In my opinion, art should be self-critical. Many bright "representatives of contemporary art" do not have this quality "

Roman Minaev on the text of Egor Sofronov: “When the question arises before the critics of contemporary culture — Drugs or TV? — the latter is preferred. With Yegor's texts, the situation is similar (although, I know, he is trying) - everything is better than touching pussy ”.

On the eve of the opening of the Venice Biennale-2019, Roman acted as the curator of the Russia Pavilion project https://t.me/s/pavilion_rus, where the participants proposed their own solution to the question of the system of selecting artists for such "reviews" in the form of a self-organized alternative. "I wish I was a bourgeois, but still I am a potter"

Ivan Novikov is an artist, researcher, curator. Lecturer at the Institute of Contemporary Art "Baza", member of the editorial board of the "Art magazine", co-founder of the artist-run-space "Center Red". An underdog (according to VAC) and a service worker (according to his own opinion).

He believes that “just to exhibit painting is to juggle cards,” therefore, within the framework of the Umwelt project http://ivan-novikov.com/?section=projects&tag=umwelt-2013 undertook "a classical modernist attempt to give the right to vote to those who were initially deprived of it" — along with painting he exhibited plants. To the exposition of the exhibition "Why?" http://ivan-novikov.com/?section=projects&tag=why-2011 included an ad with the text “Contemporary Art. Inexpensive. Guarantees ”and your phone number. Calls, according to the artist, were few, which only confirmed his suspicions that "no one needs abstract painting in Russia for nothing." Working on the project "Suitcases without Action" http://ivan-novikov.com/?section=projects, wondered what the rising of the sun had in store for us, and explored the "hybrid life drawn by the light of the metropolis."

Especially for the hoax exhibition "The Policy of Snow" http://tsaritsyno-museum.ru/.../exhibit.../p/politika-snega/ organized a summer snowfall at the Opera House in Tsaritsyno.

"Say NO to Art"

"This is not what you think about"

Yuri Albert is an artist, theoretician, representative of the second wave of Moscow conceptualism. Not Jasper Jones, not Lichtenstein or Andy Warhol. He considers contemporary art to be "quite a fun activity" in which "misunderstanding is no less important than understanding." Within the framework of the 3rd Moscow Biennale in 2009, he established a special prize that provides payment for the laureate's funeral in case he dies within the next two years. Among the landmark projects: the non-existent exhibition http://moscowartmagazine.com/issue/59/article/1224, consisting of a title and an advertising banner, a retrospective http://www.mmoma.ru/.../yurij_albert_ekaterina_degot.../, in which works are replaced by their descriptions, and an exhibition in the space of which blank canvases coexist with the texts of the artist's posts on Facebook. He actively expresses his position on social networks: for example, he reports that "Van Gogh endured and told us to."

The founding mother of the Russian underground, made only six films,

but each of them went down in the history of art as an accurate testimony of the spirit of the times and the sad transformations of our social world.

They started talking about Svetlana Baskova after two scandalous films: the iconic "Green Elephant" — the dirtiest film of the millennium, and the transcendental "Five Bottles of Vodka". Her signature style is a clash of opposites: horror and pleasure, love and cruelty, heroism and squalor.

Loves, criticizes and curates exhibitions of young artists, director of the Institute "Baza" and one of the initiators of the project "Laboratory of Art Criticism".

According to the group “Svetlana Baskova. A group of admirers of creativity" Vkontakte https://vk.com/club3915437, Svetlana believes: "A person must remember that he has guts."

Prodigal daughter Sofia Trotsenko

Mother Superior of the Prayer Monastery of Contemporary Art, Winzavod Center for Contemporary Art, Irina Saminskaya. Curator of the VZ Journalism Laboratory, External Relations Consultant and Head of Special Projects at Vinazavod, Irina was one of the founders of the first art cluster in Moscow. She then embarked on a 10-year odyssey through the institutional world of the capital, and recently returned safely to her native land.

Irina's first big step in art was the POSTO street video art festival, which she held together with Ksenia Peretrukhina and Shifra Kazhdan from 2002 to 2009.

Video by Dmitry Prigov, Gor Chahal, Vladimir Logutov, Andrey Bartenev, Sergey Shutov, Aristarkh Chernyshev, the Blue Noses group was shown in empty spaces near Pushkinskaya Square, the Tretyakov Gallery and Strelka.

But, as they say, a holy place is never EMPTY. The era of uncontrolled public art is over, and Irina quickly mastered the changing institutional environment.

Irina managed to visit leading positions in many cultural institutions in Moscow: curator at the ГЦСИ-NCCA, deputy director for development of the Muzeon Park of Arts, head of the special projects department at the Еврейский музей и центр толерантности, director of the Perspektiva Center for Creative Initiatives and deputy director for development of the Museum of Moscow.

Irina on working at the Museum of Moscow “Alas, I was not lucky. Apart from all the comic stories that surrounded our work like a big top show, it was rather exhausting and chaotic to move inside the museum, among the ruins of the former team, an incomprehensible future, and spontaneously canceled projects. In fact, I was told that I did not pull such a scale and was disappointed in me. But here we were completely in solidarity — I definitely do not pull such a scale, and I was not going to throw my life, as they say, into the fire of other people's ambitions."

So, having traversed between the ruins of the former team and the fires of other people's ambitions in the Museum of Moscow, Irina passed all the tests and returned to WINZAVOD Contemporary Art Center. Now the future of the OT is in good hands! Irina Saminskaya

A mysterious post-internet poet, dentist and just a very friendly Facebook character who appreciates every like.

Popular among representatives of Russian art and poetry communities. Based on his account Nils Kjeldsen a study was conducted by artist Sasha Minchenko http://aroundart.org/.../18/otkry-tiya-nedeli-11-17-aprelya/.

Exhibition curator Olga Deryugina writes: "Niels takes an interesting observer position, while simultaneously being within the community and not becoming its agent due to some weirdness of his reactions, communication in English, lack of strong social ties and doubts about whether there is a real Niels."

Alisa Yoffe, still a young Russian artist. “Hey dudes, buy the work for a bite! There are no attendants for whitefish and tampons."

In 2009, the first serious debut of the still young artist Alisa Joffe took place, who then declared herself as a "mercantile person" at the exhibition of students of the Anatoliy Osmolovsky course "The Mausoleum of Riot" in the Stella Gallery.

Her work consisted of embroidery, repeating patterns of banknotes.

Alisa is the most talented student of David Ter-Oganyan, who has mastered the main elements of children's creativity better than others — an asterisk, a pistol, a bomb, a bomb, and people with flags. Staying true to black on white in a sleazy manner, the artist claims to be the fashion punk. Alisa continues to conquer the exhibition grounds in Moscow, which also brought her fame in the design environment. Clearly readable armed figures of cops and terrorists with slogans in simple english, if strongly desired, can be stylistically correlated with the patterns of dancing men by Keith Haring, who also succeeded in collaborating with fashion brands.

From the text of Andrey Parshikov http://di.mmoma.ru/news?mid=2949&id=1271: "While Pavel Pepperstein only plans to conquer fashion catwalks, Alice Joffe has already collaborated with Comme Des Garçons. Her drawings with black paint on sheets (gigantomania does not allow you to write on canvases — at least, it is too expensive) now you can buy and wear in the form of T-shirts from everyone's favorite Japanese brand.Of course, on neat and very beautiful T-shirts from Mrs. Watanabe, the drawings of the artist pretending to be punk frenzy look even more decorative than on giant sheets in the laconic interiors of a white cube." Alisa Yoffe
